Who are we?

The Franciscan Family constitutes one of the largest charism of the Church, as it is spread and assumed by many all around the world, due to its different branches. Within the Franciscan Family we find: the First Order, formed by men religious, the Second Order, formed by cloister nuns (Clare Sisters) and the Third Order, which is formed by lay and religious people.

The different vocations makes possible that every branch of the Family may develop its mission in different areas, though there is something in particular where the Franciscans are working: the transmission of the Christian vocation to all young people following the example of St. Francis and St. Clare.
